Who processes the data

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging, App Check) to store scores and run the leaderboard. Google processes this data on our behalf as a service provider. See Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. We do not share data with any other third parties.

User-chosen nicknames

Nicknames are screened by an automated profanity/abuse filter (English, Dutch, Japanese) before they can appear on the leaderboard. If a nickname slips through that you find offensive, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Because sign-in is anonymous and no real-world identifiers are requested, we do not collect personal data as defined by GDPR or COPPA.

Data retention and deletion

Scores and your anonymous profile remain until you ask us to remove them. To request deletion of your nickname and scores, email us with the nickname you used and we will delete the associated records.

Security

All data in transit is encrypted over HTTPS. Writes are protected by Firebase Security Rules and Firebase App Check, which verifies requests come from the genuine app.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
